“Like light forgiving shadow.” FORGIVENESS is a breathtaking visual representation of healing, transition, and soft release. The lower and left edges of the composition feature a deeply textured, rough expanse of dark charcoal black paint, resembling old fractures or heavy stone. However, a massive, sweeping movement of warm cream and pure white impasto rolls across the canvas, slowly smoothing over and burying the dark texture beneath it. The blended, buttery transitions give the piece a profound sense of grace and mercy, perfectly balancing heavy structural depth with lightweight, luminous comfort.
