CONTEMPT

“Cold, dismissive, sneering.” CONTEMPT is a striking, visceral confrontation captured in high-relief paint. The composition centers on thick, sculptural layers of oily, glossy black paint that form an almost organic, lip-like structure curling in a visible sneer. Exploding outward from the center is a sharp, aggressive flick of matte white impasto that crosscuts the dark canvas like a cold rejection. The stark contrast between the high-shine black and the chalky white ridges gives the piece a psychological weight that feels like disgust frozen in time. It is a bold, uncompromising statement art piece designed to bring dramatic tension and hyper-modern texture to any avantgarde interior.
